Waiting Families
The following families are families that are currently waiting to adopt through Inheritnace Adoptions. They have met all of the eligibility requirments of this agency. All couples recieve a home study and training through Inheritance Adoptions.
Jason and Michelle
Jason and Michelle live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area where Michelle's family lives. Jason's family lives in New Orleans where he grew up. Jason enjoys his job programing software for implants used by physicians to help patients with chronic pain. He enjoys watching LSU games and riding his bike in his free time. Michelle has her own embroidery business from home and takes care of their young daughter. They both enjoy being involoved in the community and love going to community events, concerts, park shows, and festivals. They see Michelle's family very often and visit Jason's family about 5 times a year and love the time they get to spend with them.
Tim and Sara
Tim and Sara live in the Wichita Falls area, but grew up in Wisconsin. They have been happily married for 10 years. Tim is an instrustor pilot at Sheppard Air Force Base and likes to travel, watch sports, and work on cars. Sara is a pre-K aide and enjoys taking walks, doing arts and crafts, and reading. Both of their families still live in Wisconsin but they are in contact with them weekly and enjoy visitng them 3 or 4 times a year. Sara's and Tim's families are very supportive of adoption and very excited!
Jan and Donna
Jan (pronounced "yawn") and Donna live in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area and have been happily married for nine years. Jan is a certified Swiss carpenter and makes custom furniture and does remodeling. Jan came from Switzerland to get a pilot's license and now enjoys flying as a hobbie. Donna is an artist and High School art teacher and absolutely loves her job. Donna was adopted when she was five days old and inherited her artistic ability from her birth mother! Jan and Donna love the mountains, exploring, and hiking. Jan and Donna both having very loving families and they are all ready to share that love with a child.
Vince and Tandy
Vince and Tandy live in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area and are daily enjoying their marriage of ten years. Both of their sons, Riley and Jake, were adopted! Vince is a Financial Adviso and enjoys sporting events and coaching, but most of all enjoys being a dad. Tandy worked as a lawyer for several years, but is now working from home on part-time projects. Tandy enjoys volunteering, cooking, and being a mother. Tandy was adopted and has always had a special place in her heart for her adoptive family and birth family! She loves sharing the experiences with her son and having adoption be a normal part of their lives.
Joey and Emily
Joey and Emily live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and have been married 4 years. Joey has owned his own business for about 7 years as a diesel mechanic. He is a "jack of all trades" and is always working on projects and helping friends with projects they're working on. Emily is a nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at a children's hospital. She enjoys finding old pieces of furniture and re-doing them for their home. Both Joey and Emily have huge families! Both of their parents have 11 siblings each!
Paul and Carey
Paul and Carey live in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area and have been married for 14 years. Paul has a business degree and a Masters in International Finance and currently works for the FDIC. Carey has a degree in broadcast journalism and has a successful career in public relations. She has alot of flexibility to take care of thier home and spend time with their daughter because she works from home. They adopted their daughter, Isabella, at birth. Isabella is three years old and is very excited to be a big sister. Their family enjoys traveling and taking mission trips all over the world!
Scott and Michelle
Scott and Michelle live in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area and have been married for 14 years. He is a police officer and currently works at the school and has worked in this police department for 10 years. She is a middle school teacher and teaches 7th grade history. They love doing things outside together: such as skiing, camping, and swimming. They "accidently" met by mutual friends one night but didn't get to know eachother until a year later at college!
Steve and Courtney
Steve and Courtney live in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area and have been happily married for 17 years. They grew up in the same town and are high school sweethearts! Steve is a middle school math teacher and loves to be outside camping or working in the yard. Courtney runs a daycare from their home, but she will be ending the daycare when God places a child with them. She enjoys reading, going for walks and baking and creating new recipes. They love spending time together and with family and friends.
